Cyprian Nowak, UX/UI and Product Designer

Diagnosis first, then the screen.

I design websites and digital products, from diagnosis to launch. In every case study I write down what I checked, what I ruled out and what I couldn't measure.

Projects

Five projects, each with proof.

What the center helps with comes first, in words without clinical distance.

01 SensoBaza

I reopened my own project before the bill did.

In autumn 2025 I built SensoBaza from scratch in Webflow (pro bono, alongside my studies). A year later I redesigned it and moved it to Astro 7 on Cloudflare. It took me three days, every page kept its address, and the client's platform cost dropped from $168 a year to zero.

Two paths: enroll right away, or get to know the place first.

02 Czarodziejskie Smyczki

A preschool site built around a parent's decision.

I rebuilt the site around what parents want to see before they enroll their child: the people, the atmosphere and the way the staff work. I wrote the content first, then designed the look. Live since June 9, 2026.

The limit sits right next to the promise, not in a footnote.

03 TuMedytuj

A meditation written for one situation.

My own MVP, built in about two weeks: a tool that writes and voices a meditation for the user, a worked-out cost model and an audit of my own site before launch.

The circle only moves along the route, as if on a rail.

04 Booking

Stays along your route, in one place.

An independent feature concept that came out of my own road trip. Two variants and a test plan, no results yet.

05 Flex Fiesta

One day, eleven bands, one website.

An unofficial website for a beatdown festival in Prague that I built in one day. Motion and typography lead, and the first screen weighs about 190 KB. Shown with the organizers' permission.

Personal project, unofficial

About

Hi! I'm Cyprian.

I've been designing websites and digital products for five years. Once I sit down to a project, I disappear into it and find it hard to let go until it's finished.

Curiosity pulled me in. It started with Figma: I spent hours trying out tricks, copying the layouts of other people's websites and learning from YouTube. Then came courses (Lepszy Projektant, BYOL), a year and a half at the NUEVE design school and my degrees at the University of Opole. Both my bachelor's thesis in PR and branding and my master's thesis in digital culture were about UX. For the master's I ran five interviews on how AI is changing the work of junior designers. I defended both with the top grade.

For the past year I've been designing for clients, including SensoBaza and Czarodziejskie Smyczki. The project closest to me, though, is TuMedytuj, my own product, because I hadn't seen anything like it among Polish meditation tools. I've also recently started my own studio, CJNDESIGN, which presents these projects from the client's side. Now I'm looking for a team where I can do this every day, with the studio running alongside.

SensoBaza (both versions) and the print materials for the same client were pro bono; Czarodziejskie Smyczki was a paid commission.

How I work

I start with a conversation with the client: why the website should exist and what a visitor should do there. I write the content before I design anything, because with the text in place the layout comes together faster and without guesswork. I try to show a first version within the first week, then go back to the client at every stage so the final result surprises no one. I also show the finished design to someone who hasn't seen it yet, because they'll catch what has become obvious to me.

AI takes the tedious work off my hands, like naming layers in Figma or removing backgrounds, but the decisions stay mine. When I rebuilt SensoBaza from Webflow to Astro, I set three conditions: seven addresses unchanged, the same brand, platform cost down to zero. I checked every change against that list, including the code I wrote with Codex and Claude Code.

What I haven't done yet

I haven't worked in a multi-person product team at a company yet. The qualitative research I know from my master's didn't need a team, and on client projects I worked on my own.

Outside work

Outside design: the gym with friends, cycling in summer (about 300 km this year), skiing in winter, audiobooks and fantasy RPGs. I'm a big fan of The Witcher, both the books and the games, and for a few weeks now I've had a small cat that takes up more of my time than it should.
